back in the middle
american life has become so far departed from reality… we’re grasping at shadows and irrelevant details. what different lives are possible, from here it’s hard to see. it’s all i can do to hold on to whatever perspective i’ve gained in the past few years away. read, walk, play guitar through the pod & some old junk. the gear arrives in a week or so, then it’s shred time.all this garbage information flooding back in to occupy the gray matter. roads, gas stations, aisles, best prices, variations on sugar & salt. i do not want to be thinking of this. i want to be thinking of love & light. better ways. but i know why i’m here, and that all keeps me going. unlike the last time, i know the score, and i know what i can do.
